Pathway to Spiritual Growth

Dear Friends,
I would like to share with you something that the Lord Jesus has been having me think about, and that is the issue of growth. Whether it is spiritual growth, relational growth or organizational growth one thing is relevant to all - that "Without Change, There is No Growth!" Please let me clarify, I am not speaking of change simply for "change sake" but of necessary, critical and strategic change that will move us toward our future and destiny in Christ Jesus.
However, it is a well known fact, that most people do not like change but prefer the familiar and will not change until they are forced to change by circumstances or situations beyond their control.
Forced change is not the best option or plan. Maybe that's the problem, most people do not 'plan' change, it's usually thrust upon them. Hey if you're one of those people who do not change until they absolutely have too, then you're in good company. The apostle Paul before his conversion was a persecutor of the Lord's church and the only reason why he changed was because the Lord gave him a "Reality Check!" (see Acts 9:1-6)
"Facing Reality" is an important aspect toward significant and valuable change or in other words giving yourself a "Reality Check" before the Lord has to give you one. There will be no change until we recognize the need for change.
1Corinthians 11:31-32 GWORD
“If we were judging ourselves correctly, we would not be judged. But when the Lord judges us, he disciplines us so that we won’t be condemned along with the rest of the world.”
There are some key points toward successful and strategic change:
1. We cannot change ourselves without the Lord's help (Phil. 2:12-13)
2. We cannot change ourselves without the help of others (James 5:16; Heb. 10:24-25)
3. We cannot change without loving the truth (John 8.32, 45; Ps. 119:30; Gal. 4:16)
4. We will not change without faith determination and diligence (Heb.6:12; 1 Pet. 1:5-11)
Change is not always easy but when it is change that is consistent with the Lord's word then it is always worthwhile. That is change for the better and not for the worst.
Be encouraged,
- Pastor Jason

Greetings
Dear Friends,
As you know, starting tomorrow we celebrate the passion and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. For those of us who have placed our lives into the hands of the Lord through faith in His accomplished and finished work of redemption through His suffering, death, burial and resurrection (see 1 Corinthians 15:1ff), the observance and acknowledgment of these events possesses exceptional significance. To us it is much more than just a doctrinal statement but a powerful reality we experience everyday! Praise God for that. We have the reassurance of a victory experienced in the 'here and now' and in eternity to come, because the Lord Jesus conqured for us, all that was keeping us Him.
“I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.” (Revelation 1:18, NKJV)
So, let us celebrate this truth and all the realities and blessings of eternal redemption in Christ.
Blessings by the blood that Jesus for us all,
Pastor Jason

Hello
everyone,
As I mentioned in my previous entry that my good friend, Apostle Mickey Freed is our guest speaker/minister for this Sunday service, February 28th at 10:00 a.m. Apostle Mickey is very down to earth and at the same time very sensitive to the Holy Spirit. Before entering full-time ministry he had his own business, he owned a construction company in Texas and built homes - he was very successful. His practical real-world experience shows up when he ministers, when he makes spiritual things 'practical' but 'powerful'. Please join us this Sunday if you are in our area and do not have a home church you already attend.
Work continues on our site to provide important and up-to-date information about the church's ministries and various present and future events. Likewise to the add more resources for our visitors spiritual growth and personal edification. For example, another audio teaching has been added to the 'Encouragement' link/page, it's title "When You Get Disconnected: Call Back!" by one of our ministers, Prophet Jim Cutter. Go and listen to it, you'll be glad you did.
Also another reminder to mark your calendars to attend the "6th Annual West Coast Gathering of Apostles and Prophets". The dates are: March 8, 9 & 10. This year we expect another powerful conference this year. There is a "No-Fee" Registration for the day-sessions (required). You can register online by clicking here. You can learn more about the conference by clicking on link above.
As an added bonus, we have a "Pre-Conference" Prophetic Training (Modules 1 & 2), the dates are: March 4, 5, 6 & 7. Click here for more
That's it for now, I will have more to share later.
The Lord's blessings be on you "daily" just like the Word of God says in
Psalms 68:19
"Blessed be the Lord,
Who daily loads us with benefits,
The God of our salvation!"
In the name and in the love of Jesus,
- Pastor Jason

Hi there,
Sunday morning was a great time with Lord and His people. I am always blessed when I know that the Lord Jesus has brought encouragement to His people in a very real and practical way. My message yesterday was on "Friendships: Different Kinds" (click here to download my teaching outline) where I taught on the different types of friendships there are and to understand what are the differences. I also gave helpful tips on how to make friendships last, and make them richer and deeper. If you'd like to purchase an audio CD copy of the message, then please call the church office at (562) 945-2647, ext. 15 and leave a message expressing your desire.
Great news: I am excited about my good friend Apostle Mickey Freed being with us at Regency on Sunday morning, February 28th at 10:00 a.m. Mickey is an excellent teacher and communicator who also knows how to flow with the Holy Spirit. It will be a great, joyous and an encouraging time in the Lord, please don't miss it.
Also, our March theme is: "Supernatural Living". We will be emphasizing and directing our praise and worship and teaching, etc. toward learning how to live life supernaturally, that is, by the Holy Spirit's empowerment in the believers life. It going to be exciting.
Another thing about March, it is also the time for our "6th Annual West Coast Gathering of Apostles and Prophets". The dates are: March 8, 9 & 10. Each year it has gotten better and better and we expect a powerful conference this year. There is a "No-Fee" Registration for the day-sessions (required). You can register online by clicking here. As an added bonus, we have a "Pre-Conference" Prophetic Training (Modules 1 & 2), the dates are: March 4, 5, 6 & 7. Click here for more information and details. The schedule will be posted shortly.
Last but not least, there's a new article for your encouragement by Ronnette Adams, B.Th., an excellent teacher in the body of Christ. Click here to check it out.
Well that's it for now.
Blessings in Jesus' name,
Pastor Jason

New Things
Friday/February/16 2007 | Permalink
Hi Everyone,
Many new things have been added to the web site. We are particularly excited about adding more and more resources for your encouragement, edification and spiritual growth. Such as, articles, audio teaching files and video clips. If you have any trouble with the video clips you may need to configure your internet brower in order to play them (e.g. Firefox).
The articles will be written not only be me and Pastor Cathy but also by several of the anointed voices within the community of Regency.
I will be posting often to this blog to share my thoughts, announcements and other exciting things. So I encourage you to visit the site regularly and don't forget to tell your friends about us.
Also remember, our theme for the month of February is "Friendship".
Love and blessings,
Pastor Jason
