April's Theme: Inheritance Month
Wednesday/March/28 2007 | Permalink
Blessings in Jesus' name,
We are giving
each month a different theme and emphasis, in order that we may focus on a single biblical truth and build on it throughout the month. We accomplish this through the teaching, the music and the other elements within the life of the church and the services.
This month has been designated
"Inheritance Month".
As such, we will work to discover what the Scriptures say about our inheritance in Christ and how to walk in it in a very real and powerful way. When we do not understand what our inheritance is, then the tendency is to live below our privileges and blessings in Christ. I believe that none of us want that!
In reference to our inheritance in Christ, Paul the apostle declares: "
In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will," (Ephesians 1:11, NKJV).
I am looking forward to this month's teaching.

Jesus Christ has Risen!
Yes, starting next week we will be celebrating our Lord's victory over sin, death and the grave, which brought to us a glorious, real and everlasting salvation.
On
April 6th is Good Friday and we will be having a special service to acknowledge and thank our Lord for His infinite love, goodness and mercy in suffering and dying on the cross for our sins, in order to bring to us forgiveness, healing and new life.

In Luke 24:44, 46-47 (NKJV), it says,
“Then He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.” ... Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”

The service will include plenty of personal ministry for everyone who desires it. We are going to have a powerful and encouraging time in the Lord that night!

Then on
Sunday, April 8th in our 10:00 a.m. service will we be celebrating the Resurrection of our Lord in full-force, as the praise and worship team and choir gives an outstanding musical presentation to the glory of our Lord Jesus. You don't want to miss it if you are in the area.

Well, that's it for now.
Blessings,
Pastor Jason
Wow What A Conference!
Thursday/March/15 2007 | Ministry News | Permalink
Greetings,
Last week we completed our
Prophetic Training Modules (which was a great success) and our "6th Annual West Coast Gathering of Apostles and Prophets" which was also a great success. The kick-off evening session of the conference was on Thursday, March 8th, Apostle Tom Hamon taught on the "Apostolic Keys for Kingdom Building" an important message for the body of Christ in this season.

On Friday morning there were two day sessions taught by
Pastor Cathy (my lovely wife) and Apostle Tom Hamon, respectively. Pastor Cathy taught out of Nehemiah showing us the characteristics and principles that made Nehemiah a successful builder according to God's purpose. Apostle Tom taught on "The Apostolic Mantle: Building and Expanding the Kingdom of God" which addressed the 'characteristics of Apostolic Mentoring and Fathering - both sessions were very rich. The Friday evening session was taught by Apostle Jane and she spoke on "The Apostolic Shift" teaching what personal and corporate shifts needed to be made and how to make them, so we may line ourselves up with present truth and the current move of God (and what is to come). It was a powerful service! The last two sessions on Saturday were powerful as well, taught by myself and Apostle Tom.

If you are interested in purchasing copies of the audio CD's, please call the church office at (562) 945-2647, ext. 15 and the staff will be happy to help you.

On another note, a few resources have been added to the site: 1) an article written by Pastor Eric Padilla titled,
"Resilience" a key to a strong marriage to read it click here. It's very good and I know you will enjoy it; 2) an audio teaching by Prophet Jim Cutter on "How to Respond to the Word of the Lord" if you'd like to hear click here; and 3) we also uploaded some prophetic words that have been given to both me and Pastor Cathy and Regency, if you'd like to go and view them click here or go to Video Album.

That's all I have time for right now but I'll have to come back to do a few more entrys.

Love and blessings be on you in Jesus' most awesome name,
- Pastor Jason
Quick Note...

Blessings to you,
This is a brief entry to share a few things with you.
- First, we've uploaded another audio teaching file to the the site for your edification, titled
"Anointed by God for Service". It's on the Encouragement page. We trust it will bless you.
- Second, momentum is building for our
6th Annual West Gathering of Apostles and Prophets. We've just completed the Prophetic Training, Modules 1 & 2. It was excellent and all instructors did a fine job. We had a great group of spiritually hungry and enthusiastic participants. It was a great success. All the praise of course goes to God!
- Third, with the amount of time and effort going into the
Prophetic Training and the WCGAP '07 it has slowed down a bit our web site development. Our apologies. However, we will continue to add more content as we go along, just be patient with us and pray for us too Happy.
- Fourth, there is still time to
register for the conference . . . don't be left out!
Sad it say it, but it's time to go....

Prophetic Training, etc.

Hello again,
It's been a few days since my last entry and I thought I'd better write a fresh one now. We are pretty busy at Regency, the office staff and I have been working diligently to get everything ready for two major ministry events beginning Sunday, March 4th.

The first one, March 4th thru the 7th is the Apostolic and Prophetic Training Modules 1 and 2, where believers learn to hear God's voice and to flow in the gifts of the Holy Spirit (Module 1); and "Enhancing Your Prophetic Ministry" - learning to avoid Prophetic Pitfalls and to fine tune your prophetic flow, etc. (Module 2).

Let me share some personal perspective, when I first gave my life to the Lord back in December 1974, nothing like this existed, where someone spiritually hungry could learn to hear from God and learn to flow with the Holy Spirit in
a safe and encouraging environment. No instead, I had to learn as it were through "trial and error", it was tough. How happy I would have been if someone could have helped me and made the process all so much easier. While it may have not been there for me, it is certainly here now for you. If you have the desire, there is the opportunity for you, make the time for this training and register by calling us at (562) 945-2647, ext. 15).

The Apostle Paul inspired of the Holy Spirit said,
“Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.” (1Corinthians 14:1, NKJV) From this and other scriptures we learn that it is not wrong to desire spiritual things, spiritual gifts and to flow in the prophetic nature of God. Quite the contrary we are told to be passionate about God's love and to desire the spiritual gifts He has given.

The second major event follows immediately after this Prophetic Training and is our "6th Annual West Gathering of Apostles and Prophets", March 8, 9 & 10. These are powerful events where God's word through the spirit of wisdom and revelation causes us to know and understand our place, position, power and purpose in Christ Jesus and the Kingdom of God (Ephesian 1:17-23). Day teaching sessions are scheduled, in addition to the evening sessions on Thursday and Friday night, March 8 & 9. Our conference speakers are Apostles Tom and Jane Hamon from Christian International Ministries Network. Along with Bishop Bill Hamon they have been pioneers in establishing both the Prophetic and the Apostolic in our generation. We are truly blessed to have them this year in our conference. They are a powerful couple in the Spirit. Pastor Cathy and I will also be teaching a session.

2007 is a year of "Restoration and Fulfillment" for everyone who will position themselves correctly. It is a time for God's people to step up, to step forward and to go into action. It's a time to act -- a time to "Build and Expand" God's Kingdom!
